Steps:
- 1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground turkey and drain well. Transfer to slow cooker. In same pan, add oil and saute onion and mushrooms until onions are softened and mushrooms have started to give up their liquid. Transfer to slow cooker with meat.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- 4. Serve over your favorite cooked pasta and sprinkle with grated parmesan, if desired.
