SLOW COOKER BAKED POTATOES image

When you are expecting a crowd for a cookout, wheher its grilling steaks, chicken or bar-b-que, this is the easiest way to fix potatoes for everyone without having to stand over the stove for a long time.

Number Of Ingredients 10

10 - 12 baking potatoes
cooking oil
kosher salt
aluminum foil
BAKED POTATO BAR
butter
sour cream
chopped green onions
bacon bits
cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Scrub and pat dry all of the potatoes. Prick each one with a fork several times; rub with cooking oil and sprinkle with kosher salt. Wrap each one in foil.
  • 2. Fill your slow cooker with the potatoes, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or on high for 4 to 6 hours. DO NOT ADD WATER.
  • 3. Set up a Baked Potato Bar and let everyone fix their potatoe the way they want it.
