Simple Penne Pasta image

Made with five ingredients, this simple but delicious pasta dish is ready in just 20 minutes. Get out the garlic and fresh basil and let's get started.

1 cup penne pasta, uncooked
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup frozen BOCA Veggie Ground Crumbles
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
2 cloves garlic, minced

Steps:

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, cook remaining ingredients in skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. or until crumbles are cooked through (160ºF), stirring frequently.
  • Drain pasta; serve topped with sauce.
