SHRIMP IN GINGER BUTTER SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 5

6 oz large shrimp in shell, peeled
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1-1/2 tsp grated peeled ginger
2 Tbsp medium-dry sherry
2 Tbsp coarsely chopped cilantro

Steps:

  • pat shrimp dry and season with salt Heat butter in heavy medium skillet over medium-high heat until foam subsides, t hen saute ginger 30 seconds. Add shrimp and saute 2 mins. Add sherry and saute untils hrimp are just cooked through, 1-2 mins. Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
