Shrimp & Corn Soup image

A velvety blend of cream with corn and shrimp makes this super easy soup. Serve with crusty French bread on a cold winter night.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1-1/2 pound(s) cleaned shrimp
1 small yellow onion
1/2 cup(s) bell pepper
1 stalk(s) celery
5 tablespoon(s) butter
1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 can(s) whole kernel corn
1 can(s) creamed corn
4 ounce(s) cream cheese
1 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
1-1/2 cup(s) whole milk
2 tablespoon(s) cajun seasonings
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Chop veggies and sauté in butter and olive oil until translucent. Add shrimp and sauté for 3 minutes. Add corn, milk, cream, and seasonings.
  • Cook on low heat until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with crunchy French bread.
