Sawdust Pie image

This is a wonderfully rich pie made by a great restaurant in Kentucky.

Number Of Ingredients 8

7 egg whites, unbeaten
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 c chopped pecans
1 1/2 c coconut
9 deep pie shell
topping:
whipped cream and sliced bananas

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients by hand. Pour into pie shell and bake until glossy & set - about 25 - 30 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!! Top with whipped cream and sliced bananas.
