Savory Chicken Casserole image

I have made this dish a few times and have found out that it also goes well with fresh grated Parmesan Cheese as well.

Number Of Ingredients 13

8 ounce(s) penne rigate noodles
4 - boneless chicken breast (chopped)
- olive oil for cooking
2 clove(s) garlic
1 small onion
1 cup(s) swiss cheese
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup(s) milk
1 can(s) mushroom stems and piecs
1 cup(s) shredded mozzarella
1 cup(s) bread crumbs
3 tablespoon(s) butter (melted)

Steps:

  • Cook Noodles
  • Cook Chicken,Onions,mushrooms and Garlic
  • Pre-Heat oven to 350 Degrees F.
  • Assemble noodles and Chicken in 9 x 12 Baking Dish
  • Mix together soup and milk in a bowl
  • Pour soup and milk mixture over the chicken and noodles then add cheese and mix well
  • Sprinkle Bread Crumbs over chicken mixture
  • Drizzle Butter over bread Crumbs
  • Cover with Aluminum Foil and Bake for 30 minutes
  • Turn oven to 275 Degrees F then Uncover and Bake for another 10 Minutes
