Sausage Rye Appetizers image

This came from a friend, Ann Slaughter Catchick. You can make ahead & freeze. Place them on a cookie sheet after assembling and freeze. When frozen put in freezer bag. If someone stops by,you can pop them in the oven or have a few for lunch. HEATING INSTRUCTIONS FROM FREEZER: Place under broiler for about 5 minutes not longer...

1 lb bob evans hot sausage (you can use reg or mild also)
1 lb ground chuck
DRAIN MEATS WELL PUT BACK IN PAN & COOK TILL CHEESE IS MELTED:
1 lb velvetta cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce
1-8 oz can(s) mushrooms,drained & finely chopped
SPREAD MEAT MIXTURE ON 1 LOAF PARTY RYE BREAD. PLACEIN A SINGLE LAYER ON A COOKIE SHEET.
NOW IS THE TIME TO FREEZE IF FREEZING. OR
BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN (375*) FOR ABOUT 5 MIN. OR UNTIL HOT.
