Sausage and Grits Casserole Recipe - (4.5/5) image

1 pound roll sausage
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup grits, uncooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
Grated cheese

Steps:

  • Brown Sausage in skillet. Add onions and pepper and celery Cook until vegetables are soft.....drain Cook grits in 4 cups of water then add to sausage/vegetable mixture. Place in 9 X 13 in. buttered casserole dish. Spread soup over top and add grated cheese as desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (or until bubbly)
