SALAD WITH STRAWBERRIES AND STRAWBERRY TARRAGON DRESSING image

1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
1 med red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 c toasted sunflower seeds, optional
1 large carrot, peeled and grated
1 pint strawberries, cut in half
Dressing enough for 6
2 cups strawberries,
1 small shallot
1/4 c balsamic vinegar
1/4 t white pepper
1/4 c agave nectar or honey
1/2 T tarragon
1/2 t salt

Steps:

  • Mix all salad ing in a bowl. Puree all dressing ing. in blender til smooth and creamy Toss salad with dressing to tast.
