4 large sweet potatoes
3 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
1 Tbsp Creole seasoning
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbsp honey, raw

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash, peel and cube fresh sweet potatoes.
  • 2. Place paper towels on a large sheet pan and dry the sweet potatoes. Remove paper towels. Drizzle the sweet potatoes with extra virgin olive oil.
  • 3. Mix dry seasoning together in a large plastic bag.
  • 4. Scoop the sweet potatoes into the bag with the seasoning mixture and shake bag until evenly coated.
  • 5. Bake sweet potatoes on a lightly greased baking sheet or large cast iron skillet for 30 minutes or until fork-tender. Halfway through give the potatoes a stir to prevent one side burning.
  • 6. Remove from oven and place into a serving dish. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
