Redneck Bhelpuri image

This is my version of the great Indian snack, but with easy to find (and cheap) ingredients. Try it before you knock it.

Number Of Ingredients 7

½ cup diced onion
½ cup chopped tomatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
½ lime, juiced
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 cup crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)

Steps:

  • Combine onion, tomato, olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Let sit 3 to 5 minutes. Add crispy rice cereal and serve immediately.
