Raisin Sauce for Ham image

This is a nice sauce that can be served with ham, pork, or poultry.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
2 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
1 1/2 cup(s) water
1 cup(s) raisins
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon peel, fnely shredded
2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
2 tablespoon(s) cider vinegar

Steps:

  • In saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
  • Gradually stir in water, then raisins, lemon peel, lemon juice and vinegar.
  • Cook, stirring, until thickened and bubbly.
