Quesadogs image

My husband loves hot dogs any style and this one was pretty inventive fun and yummy.

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 small flour tortillas taco size
4 medium flour tortillas fajita or burrito size
1 large jalapeno seeded and minced
2 - green onion small dice
1 cup(s) cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup(s) monterey jack cheese shredded
1 jar(s) queso fresco sauce
4 - hot dogs
1 tablespoon(s) oil
- sour cream or guacamole for serving

Steps:

  • Top the larger flour tortilla with some shredded cheddar, Monterery Jack, jalapeno and green onion. Top with the smaller tortilla. Pour some queso sauce on top then the hot dog. Roll up and set aside seam side down.
  • Repeat with the other 3 hot dogs. Place oil in large skillet and fry the quesadogs until browned on all sides. Warm the remaining queso sauce on pour on top. Serve with sour cream or guacamole if desired.
