2 1/2 pound(s) lean ground beef
1 tablespoon(s) warm water
1 teaspoon(s) cornmeal
1 teaspoon(s) flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) hot sauce
1 teaspoon(s) cocoa
2 teaspoon(s) sugar
2 teaspoon(s) paprika
2 teaspoon(s) oregano
2 tablespoon(s) beef bouillon
2 tablespoon(s) cumin
3 tablespoon(s) chili powder
1 cup(s) water
8 ounce(s) tomato sauce
12 ounce(s) beer
4 - garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup(s) finely chopped onion
1 pound(s) ground pork
1/2 teaspoon(s) coriander, ground

Steps:

  • In large saucepan or dutch oven, brown half the meat; pour off fat.
  • Remove meat.
  • Brown remaining meat; pour off all fat except 2 tablespoon.
  • Add onion, garlic; cook and stir until tender.
  • Add meat and remaining ingredients except flour, cornmeal and warm water.
  • Mix well.
  • Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer covered 2 hours.
  • Stir together flour and cornmeal; add warm water.
  • Mix well.
  • Stir into chili mixture.
  • Cook covered 20 minutes longer.
  • Serve hot.
  • Makes 2 quarts.
