Steps:
- 1. 1. marinate pecans in 1/3 cup liqueur.
- 2. 2. cream butter, vanilla and sugar in large mixing bowl.
- 3. 3. add eggs and milk.
- 4. 4. sift flour,cinnamon and baking powder into mixture. add pecans and liqueur.
- 5. 5. pour into 2 greased 5x9 loaf pans and bake in PREHEATED 300 degrees oven for 60-70 mins
- 6. 6. cool and wrap in cheese cloth, then poke holes in top of the bread with wooden pick. pour 1/3 cup liqueur over each loaf.
- 7. 7. wrap in foil or in air-tight tin. AGE THREE DAYS IN REFRIGERATOR. ENJOY!
