it's easy to get into the Caribbean state of mind with one of these tall coolers in your system. Imagine a wide veranda, a field of sugar cane stirring in the trade winds, with the blue seas in the distance. these are the images rum stirs up. source unknown

Number Of Ingredients 10

- 2 ounces gold rum
- 1 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 ounce dark rum
- 1 tablespoon curaçao or other orange liqueur
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon grenadine
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 to 3 dashes angostura bitters
- a slice of orange and maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick, as garnish

Steps:

  • in a tall glass, mix all the ingredients except the fruit garnish. Stir to blend, then fill the glass with ice cubes. Add the garnish and serve at once Make one cocktail
