Steps:
- Spread butter over bread slices; place one slice of bread in a greased sandwich iron, buttered side down. Spread with pizza sauce; layer with 2 tablespoons cheese, pepperoni and, if desired, green pepper. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with remaining bread slice, buttered side up. Close iron.
- Cook over a hot campfire 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted, turning occasionally.
- Yield: 1 serving.
