Pineapple Cheese Ball image

This is a cheeseball that Charlotte Jones used to make for us when I worked at Sterlington Memorial Hospital. We never knew what we did to deserve it, but sure did enjoy it.

Number Of Ingredients 8

16 oz cream cheese, softened
16 oz crushed pineapple, drained
2 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
1/4 c green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 c pecans, finely chopped
1/2 Tbsp lawry's seasoning salt
1 bunch green onions, chopped
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the softened cream cheese with the pineapple, onions, bell pepper, 1/2 cup pecans, grated cheese, and seasoning salt.
  • 2. After mixing, place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm.
  • 3. Remove from the refrigerator and roll into a ball.
  • 4. Cover with remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.
