Peppermint Ice Cream Pie image

This is so easy to prepare with just 3 ingredients. My daughter asks for this pie every Christmas.

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/2 box(es) peppermint ice cream (softened) 1.75 quart
1 package(s) oreo chocolate cookie crumb crust
1 package(s) frozen whipped topping, thawed (6 oz)

Steps:

  • Remove ice cream from freezer and let soften enough to spread in crust. Fill to just below edge of crust.
  • Place in freezer long enough to harden. Remove and spread with the thawed whipped topping.
  • Cover with the inverted plastic lid from cookie crust and freeze until firm. Remove from freezer 5-10 minutes before cutting slices. Freeze any leftover pie immediately.
