PECAN APPLE PANCAKES image

Number Of Ingredients 14

2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon backing soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 eggs
1-3/4 cups buttermilk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1-3/4 cups shredded peeled apples
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. In another bowl, combine eggs, buttermild and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until blended. Stir in apples and pecans. Pour the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased griddle over medium-low heat. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown. Yield 18
