Peach pecan pie image

This peach pie is so good .And the pecans even make it better.

1 can(s) 21 ounce peach pie filling
1 c sour cream or half-and-half
1 c light brown sugar,packed
2 egg yolks
1 c pecans, halved

Steps:

  • 1. prepare your pie shell ,I do have a recipe for pie shell in my recipes its with my stawberry pie recipe.
  • 2. Spread peach pie filling in unbaked pie shell. Combine sour cream,Brown suger and egg yolks,stirring to mix. Add pecans.pour over peach filling.
  • 3. Bake at 450 oven for 10 minutes.reduce oven temperature to 350 and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until custard is set.Cool.makes 8 servings
  • 4. you can use one 26 ounce can of sliced peachs drain and save juice .In saucepan ,mix juice with 2 tbsp guick -cooking tapioca.Cook and stir until thickened.Add peach's cool before filling pie shell.
