Number Of Ingredients 8

2 tablespoon Butter
2 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Shallots
4 ounces Pancetta
2 cups Peas
1/2 cup Chicken Broth
1 cup grated parmesan
1 pound farfalle pasta

Steps:

  • Melt butter in olive oil over med/low heat.
  • Cook pasta in salted water (I use rice pot for this).
  • Saute shallots 3 minutes (soften, not brown), add pancetta and cook for another 2-3 minutes (do this in normal pasta pot to have room).
  • dd peas, stir to combine, then add 1/2 cup chicken broth. Simmer for ~10 minutes (until pasta is done).
  • Add pasta and mix thoroughly. Add cheese, mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
