PASTA WITH WALNUT SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups milk
6 tbsp butter
1/4 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
2 tbsp coarsely chopped walnuts
Nutmeg
1 lb cooked fusilli pasta
Additonal parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat milk in large ovenproof glass bowl on high 2 mins. Stir in butter, cheeses, flour, salt and pepper. Cook on high, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened, 4 to 5 mins. Add walnuts and nutmeg and mix well. Add sauce to pasta and toss. Serve immediately, passing Parmesan separately.
