PARMESAN CRUSTED TILAPIA image

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 tsp dried basil or oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tbls melted butter
3 tbls mayonnaise
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 lb frozen tilapia filets

Steps:

  • 1) Pre-heat oven to 425 degree 2) Link a baking sheet with non-stick aluminum foil. 3) Combine basil, black pepper, paprika and garlic powder in a small bowl. 4) Whisk together melted butter and mayonnaise 5) Add the herb mixture to the mayo mixture and which until combined. Set aside. 6) Mix together Parmesan cheese and both types of bread crumbs and transfer to a shallow plate 7) Pat the fish filets dry with paper towels 8) Coat fish with the herbed butter/mayo and then dip each piece into the breadcrumb mixture, flipping over to coat both sides. 9) Place breaded filets on the lined baking sheet. 10) Baked for at least 10-12 minutes or until fish easily flakes when touched with a fork. For crispier crust, bake longer.
