This chicken recipe sounds crazy, but it is really good.I don't remember where I got it. I've had this recipe for years. I tried it and my family loved it.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 - chicken, cut up ( i use breast and tenderloins)
SAUCE:
3 tablespoon(s) ketchup
2 tablespoon(s) vinegar
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
2 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
4 tablespoon(s) water
2 tablespoon(s) butter
1 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
1 teaspoon(s) paprika
1 teaspoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Heat all sauce ingredients in saucepan.
  • Dust cut-up chicken ( whatever chicken you prefer) pieces well with flour, salt, and pepper. The amount of flour, salt and pepper depends on the kind of chicken you are preparing.
  • Grease the interior of a common grocery brown paper bag.(heavy or thick kind) I greased mine with crisco.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and lay the chicken pieces in the bag. Fold and fasten the end. (I stapled mine shut.) Lay it on a cookie sheet.( I used a shallow pan with a little sides to it.) I laid my bag on the pan BEFORE I put the chicken in.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. SLIT SACK OPEN, FOLD BACK and serve.
