Chesapeake Bay Oysters in Shell
1 1/2 t horseradish
Tabasco Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
Shredded sharp, cheddar or swiss cheese
Sm. sliced bacon, partially cooked

Steps:

  • Shuck oysters letting oyster remain in deep half of shell. Arrange oysters in a rock salt lined baking pan. If you don't have rock salt, crumple aluminum foil to make a bed for the oysters. Top each oyster with 1/8 t horseradish, a drop of Tabasco, 2 drops of Worcestershire and shredded cheese. Top w/small piece of bacon. Place pan under broiler about 6" from heat. Broil about 5 min. or until bacon is crisp.
