Oven Fried Chicken image

This is a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken. I freely admit that I seldom cook healthy foods at least not on purpose! But if something's good its good, and this is! Whether you're trying to cut fat & calories or just want an easy alternative to fried chicken! Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 assorted pieces of chicken, skinned
2 c Corn Flake crumbs
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1/2 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c low-fat buttermilk (can sub regular milk)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine Corn Flake crumbs and seasonings in a plastic bag, mixing well.
  • 2. Dip chicken pieces in milk and roll in crumb mixture, shaking to coat.
  • 3. Place chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
