ORANGE CREAM FUDGE image

THIS IS ONE OF MY FUDGE RECIPES THAT GOES IN MY CHRISTMAS GIFT TINS. VERY YUMMY AND PRETTY.

3 cup(s) white sugar
2/3 cup(s) heavy cream
3/4 cup(s) butter
1 - 7 oz. jar marshmellow cream
1 - 11 oz. package white chocolate chips
3 teaspoon(s) orange extract
12 - drops of yellow food coloring
9 - drops of red food coloring

Steps:

  • GREASE A 9 X 13 PAN.
  • IN A MEDIUM SIZE HEAVY PAN, OVER MEDIUM HEAT, COMBINE SUGAR, CREAM AND BUTTER. HEAT TO SOFT BALL STAGE, 234 DEGREES. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN MARSHMELLOW CREAM AND WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPS; MIX UNTIL THE CHIPS HAVE MELTED. RESERVE 1 CUP OF MIXTURE AND SET ASIDE.
  • TO THE REMAINING MIXTURE ADD ORANGE EXTRACT AND STIR. ADD YELLOW AND RED COLORINGS, STIR WELL AND POUR INTO PAN. POUR RESERVED MIXTURE OVER TOP. USING A KNIFE SWIRL LAYERS FOR DECORATIVE EFFECT.
  • CHILL 2 HOURS AND CUT INTO SQUARES
