Olive Bites image

I've had this recipe for years. It's so easy & tasty! If I remember correctly the original recipe called for black olives stuffed with cream cheese. I tweaked the original recipe to get it to where my hubby & I like it! We like it HOT!

Number Of Ingredients 9

36 stuffed green olives,
2 c extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c softened butter
1 c flour
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
add crushed dried chili peppers to your taste

Steps:

  • 1. Blend the cheese and butter until well mixed. Stir in the flour, salt, paprika, garlic and Tabasco and blend well. Wrap one teaspoon of dough around each olive, covering it completely.
  • 2. Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
