No Rise Yeast Rolls image

I haven't tried this recipe, but it looks so easy to make at the last minute because there is no rising time needed. This would be easy to put together in a mixer with a dough hook.

Yield 24 rolls

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
2 cups warm water
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup Crisco
1 egg
4 cups self rising flour

Steps:

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • Add sugar and Crisco.
  • Add egg, then flour and beat.
  • Spoon into ungreased muffin tins to 3/4 full.
  • Bake at 400° for about 13 minutes or until done.
