CREAMED CORN WITH PARMESAN image

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 T. vegetable oil
6 c fresh corn kernels
1/2 c cream
1/2 c chicken stock
1/2 c parmesan

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium high heat until it starts to shimmer. Add corn and cook, stirring occasionally until soft and slightly browned, 7-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add cream and stock, and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened slightly, 2-3 minutes. Remove pan from heat, and stir in parmesan. Transfew to a serving dish and sprinkle with more parmesan, if desired.
