NINA'S GRANOLA image

Yield 8 cups

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 cups rolled oats
12 oz. slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut
2 Tbs. cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 cup water
6 tsp. vanilla

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees. Mix dry ingredients. Combine brown sugar, water and salt and microwave for 5 minutes. Add vanilla. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Spread on a jellyroll pan and bake for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and let mixture sit in oven for another 45 minutes.
