1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

Steps:

  • combine milk and butter
  • bring JUST to the boil.
  • remove from heat.
  • add chips.
  • vanilla
  • stir just until thick enough to spread
  • enough for 9 inch cake.
