My Mom's Pie Crust Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 cups Flour
1 and 3/4 cups Vegetable Shortening
1 tablespoon Sugar
2 teaspoons Salt
1 tablespoon Vinegar
1 Egg

Steps:

  • w/ fork mix first 4 ingredients. In a separate dish beat vinegar, eggs, and water. Combine w/fork all together. Mold into a ball and chill 15 minutes. Makes 2 9" pie crust. For filling: 2 TBSP butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon. Plus apples...
