MY FAVORITE BANANA BREAD image

Yield 1 loaf

Number Of Ingredients 9

0.75 c. butter, softened
1.5 c. sugar
1-1.5 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1.5-2 c. flour
0.5 tsp baking powder
0.25-0.5 c. cream (can substitute buttermilk, milk, cream, yogurt)
0.3 c. chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325F. Cream together butter and sugar. Slowly mix in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add a little at a time, alternating with the cream/milk. Mix well, then stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
