This easy Chili recipe is a family favorite we usually have this with homemade corn bread and cheddar cheese or over rice or even with just saltine crackers ,My friend always tells me its better than the Wendys restaurant chili I don't know but it sure is good especially on a cool or rainy day

Steps:
- 1. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain off grease
- 2. In a large 7 quart slow cooker put ground beef, onion, bell pepper, chili beans, chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, garlic powder, salt, pepper and tomato juice
- 3. mix all ingredients together cook on high 4 to 6 hours or on low 8 hours
- 4. Serve as disired with shredded cheddar cheese, cornbread, or over rice or noodles or even with just saltine crackers
