MILK PUNCH image

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 dozen cinnamon sticks
1 Fifth of brandy, bourbon or rum
2 oz vanilla extract
1 table spoon almond extract
1 gallon whole or 2% milk

Steps:

  • First, make simple syrup by combining sugars into a pot with water. Stir until boiling. Add cinnamon sticks and simmer for 30 minutes. Let cool (overnight for best results). Pour out a little more than one quart out of a gallon of milk. Put in one fifth of brandy, bourbon or rum. *Alsways pour liquor into milk and not milk into liquor. Pour in simple syrup, vanilla extract and almond extract. Shake hard and freeze overnight. Thaw 1 or 1 1/2 before serving
