- 1 pound thickly sliced bacon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 t. dry mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400. Line a shallow rimmed baking sheet or broiler pan with foil. Place a rack in pan and arrange bacon on rack. Whisk syrup and mustard together in small bowl. Brush over top of bacon and bake for 15 minutes. Turn bacon over and brush again with syrup. Bake another 5 to 10 minutes or until bacon is very crisp and golden. Remove pan from oven and let bacon rest on rack for 5 minutes, then loosen. Do not drain on paper towels as bacon will stick. The bacon may be wrapped in foil and refrigerated or frozen. Reheat on rack at 400 for 5 minutes. Serves 5 to 6.Makes 12 slices. This is delicious and easy Source: Season's Greetings
