1/4 lime, squeezed
1/2 fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. orange curacao

1/4 oz. rock candy syrup*

Serve in: double old fashioned glass Garnish: mint sprig Be Your Own Bartender: Try a higher-end curacao (such as Pierre Ferrand) or another orange liqueur (Grand Marnier, Mandarine Napoleon). Tip: Slap your mint to release aromas and essential oils; each time you lift the glass, the mint perfumes your senses *Rock Candy Syrup: This is a rich simple syrup with double sugar and a hint of vanilla. Keep a used vanilla bean in a canister of sugar, then make rock candy syrup by boiling 2 parts to 1 part water
