1 cup Mabry Mill Grits
½ teaspoon salt
3 ½ cups water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine.

Steps:

  • Combine grits, salt and water in saucepan. Cook over low heat 25 minutes, then add butter and cook 5 minutes. May be served hot or chilled, sliced and fried in butter or pork drippings.
