Lime Butter Sauce image

It takes only 5 minutes to make this fantastic sauce. Once you see how versatile it is - it works perfectly with grilled salmon and grilled corn - you'll want to make it for a whole host of your summer favorites. From Gourmet, July 2006.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 large garlic clove, chopped
1/4 c fresh lime juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 oz unsalted butter, melted (1/2 cup)

Steps:

  • 1. Puree garlic with lime juice, salt, and pepper in a blender until smooth. With motor running, add melted butter and blend until emulsified, about 30 seconds.
  • 2. Cooks' Note: Lime butter sauce can be made 1 day ahead and chilled, covered. Stir before using.
