Key Lime Pie image

This is Luby's recipe for key lime pie and my favorite. I usually don't bother ith the green food coloring.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 (14 oz) can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c fresh lime juice (3-4 limes)
1/4 c fresh lemon juice (1-2 lemons)
1 1/2 tsp grated lime peel
1/4 tsp green food coloring
1 9 inch graham cracker crust
1 (8 z.) pkg cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, combine milk, both juices, peel and food coloring.
  • 3. Mix just until ingredients are well blended. Don't over mix.
  • 4. Pour into crust.
  • 5. Bake 5 minutes.
  • 6. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  • 7. Top with whipped cream.
