This simple coconut candy recipe is a quick treat that the children in my family seem to enjoy. It's the first one I posted because it makes me think of my dad. When doing yard work, he would sometimes grab a coconut off the tree and make us some. The problem was that he'd only make a little and we'd all be fighting over it....

Steps:
- 1. Melt the sugar in a pan over medium heat.
- 2. Throw in coconut and stir around. The mixture should be sticky, thick, and brown.
- 3. Roll into little balls (like meatballs) and serve!
