Jackie's Famous Big Chocolate Chunk Cookies image

I came up with this recipe a couple of years ago. Everyone raves about these especially when I make enough to take to my work. Everyone says they are better than bakery bought! You could use different types of pudding mix to create your own masterpiece. I hope you and your family will enjoy this as much as mine do.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 cup(s) butter or margarine melted
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar, light
1/4 cup(s) sugar
1 package(s) 3.5 oz instant vanilla pudding
1 - egg
1 - egg yolk
1 tablespoon(s) light corn syrup
1/2 tablespoon(s) pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
2 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
2 cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Combine melted butter or margarine and sugars. Add the pudding mix, egg and yolk, vanilla and corn syrup.
  • In another bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Add to the batter little at a time just until blended. Don't mix too much or the cookies will turn out too tough. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  • Scoop onto lightly sprayed cookie sheets using a 1/4 measuring cup. Six cookies per sheet is recommended. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
