Jack Rose image

The Jack Rose cocktail brings together applejack (or higher-proof bonded apple brandy) with tangy grenadine and fresh lemon.

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 ounces applejack
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce homemade grenadine (3/4 ounce if using bonded apple brandy)
Thinly sliced apple, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • In cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine applejack, lemon juice, and grenadine. Shake vigorously, then strain into a 6-ounce cocktail glass. Garnish with apple slice.
