Indian Fried Biscuits image

I love this recipe. It is so fast and easy and yummy. I sometimes drizzel it with some warm honey or sprinkle with some powdered sugar.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
oil, I use peanut oil (for frying)

Steps:

  • Combine dry ingred.
  • Add milk.
  • Mix well to form a dough.
  • Pat out on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut into 2x2 or 3x4 inch squares.
  • Fry in hot oil, about 350°F.
  • Brown lightly on both sides.
  • Serve warm.
