Impossible Cheeseburger Pie -- Gluten Free image

This can be made Gluten free or non gluten free. Use same amount of regular biscuit mix.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 pound(s) ground beef
1/2 cup(s) chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 cup(s) milk
3/4 cup(s) biscuit mix -- i used bob's red mill
3 - eggs
1 can(s) diced tomatoes drained -- or 2 sliced tomatoes
1 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Grease pie plate.
  • Brown onions and and beef. Drain and rinse the grease off ... place in the bottom of pie plate .
  • Beat milk, eggs, and biscuit mik till smooth. pour over beef and onions in pie plate.
  • Drain can of tomatoes completely .. or slice if using the fresh ones.
  • Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and place tomatoes on top then cover with shredded cheese. Put back in the oven for additional 5 - 8 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
