Hot Fudge Pudding Cake image

This is a warm gooey Fudgey Cake with Ice Cream it is soooooooo good! I love to make this on a cold day, it just warms you and make you feel so good.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/4 c granulated sugar divided
1 c all purpose flour
7 Tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c milk
1/3 c butter or margarine melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c packed light brown sugar
1 1/4 c hot water

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350. In a large bowl, stir together 3/4 granulated sugar, flour, 3 Tablesponns cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • 2. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla; beat until smooth
  • 3. Pour batter into 8- or 9-inch square baking pan. Stir together remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, nad remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa: sprinkle mixture evenly over the batter. Pour water over top. DO NOT STIR
  • 4. Bake for 35 to 40 mins. or until center is ALMOST set.
  • 5. Cool for 15 mins. spoon into dessert dishes. Spoon sauce from bottom of pan over the top of cake.
  • 6. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream if desired.
