HOT CHICKEN SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 11

5 half chicken breasts
1 can water chestnuts
8 oz bag shredded cheddar
6 stalks celery
1/2 large sweet onion
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 cup rippled potato chips crushed
1 can cream chicken soup
1 cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Boil chicken breasts for 25 minutes Remove veins and trim Dice chicken into 3/4" cubes Saute in 3 Tbs of butter 6 stalks celery diced fine 1/2 large sweet onion diced fine Mix 1 can cream, of chicken soup with 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp lemon pepper Mix everything together Place in baking dish Cover with: 1 cup crushed corn flakes 1 cup rippled potato chips crushed 1 cup melted butter Bake in 9X13 pan at 350 for 45 minutes
